Seriously. I was never a huge fan of the show Firefly. Oh, I watched it but I always thought that it had taken the "old west in space" theme just a bit too far. Especially in the earlier episodes. Now the trailer is out for the upcoming movie and I'm about ready to go buy the full series on DVD. The trailer is THAT good.

Ya know. I always HATED firefly. Hated it with a passion. I gave it a couple chances, but no.
I mean c'mon, they took Dark Angel off the air for THAT?
No, Sorry, my loyalty to Jessica Alba will keep me from ever watching that. :)
Jessica Alba was pretty much the ONLY reason to watch Dark Angel. I'm not saying that that is not a good reason to watch it - but it was the only one.
You kiddin me? It was a great show! What a cool premise.
Sure, the second season was lacking somewhat, but I was still a fan.
AND it was still better than firefly :)

Dark Angel was highly advertised and highly anticipated.
There were two full seasons of Dark Angel and the episodes were all aired and were aired in the creator intended order although often with erratic scheduling. (Thank you FOX).
Budget was enormous.
Extreme popularity.
Personal opinion at time of peak interest: Best TV Show I've Ever SEEN!
Personal opinion now: Great premise, good cast, crew, and directors, bad network, and it took a bad path.

I loved the first season of Dark
Angel, with all the social commentary.The second season was junk.
I didn't want to give Firefly a chance either, but the truth is it was pretty good.Summer Glau seems to be stuck with the psycho roles (she's on "The 4400" now)but she plays them well.
