New Star Wars Minis Maps

Sometimes the news trickles in, and sometimes it floods. Today we're seeing scattered showers of news with with some clearing expected in the evening.

I want to give a big shout-out to Blake for turning this one in. He found a site that has a number of very cool home-brew maps for Star Wars minis. This includes Jabba's Palace, a Hoth map, a docking bay, Geonosis (which is a little maze-like map) and some others. The maps are set up so that you can print them out in 8.5x11' or 11x17" segments. I am so psyched about this I might just have to burn up some ink-jet printer ink.

Just wanted to jump in here and say that there is a tiny little link on the bottom of the map page for a second page. It's pretty easy to miss.

Also, Jay didn't mention my favorite map on that site: Nar Shadda, the vertical city. Holy hippo spit, I gotta play me some games on that one!

I printed out the Hoth map today (btw - the map listed as 8.5x11" is actually 11x17"). It is SUPER sweet looking.

I think that printing and mounting is in order for these maps. I think that Seth is proficient in the X-acto and spray-mount arts. I should see if I could get him to handle that part of it.

Yeah, I can do that. I'll need a better printing than ours...probably, maybe some more foam core and a naked mole rat.

Oh, you're in luck. I always keep a naked mole rat chained in my closet. I'll bring it by next time I'm in town.

It's good to see our website is making it around!
We are adding some new tiles for download soon, as well as some more articles on strategy and squad construction.
We are a relatively new site, and trying to get the word out, so tell all your friends. :)
