BATTLESTAR GALACTICA RPG COMING
Game industry news site ICV2 is reporting that Sovereign Press has acquired the rights to publish an RPG based on the popular Sci-Fi Channel show - Battlestar Galactica.The site mentions that, although the core book is not scheduled to appear until January of next year, Sovereign Press will release a BSG RPG Quickstart Rules set for $4.99 in the fall.
The license grants them permission to publish six volumes in their BSG RPG series. They hope to extend that in the future.
Sovereign Press' Serenity RPG was the surprise RPG hit at Greenfield Games over the last year.
I'd give you a link to the Sovereign Press website... but there'd be no point. Their site is almost totally devoid of useful information.

First time I heard of it was today, beginning of october 2007, a long wait for sure but I plan to pick it up soon. Hardly any publicity either, the websites still not ready either even though its listed on the back of the core rulebook. I for one hope that a few supplements do get published for this one. And why is it rpgs based on tv always appear as the series is ending or long after? trek and serenity were both over before the rpg's appeared. Babylon 5 was nearly done when its rpg appeared and now galactica.
