So... EVE RPG or WoD MMO?

Maybe Both?
What the heck am I talking about? Well, it looks like White Wolf Games has been purchased by CCP - the makers of the popular EVE Online.
The press release calls it a merger, but then says that White Wolf is now a wholly owned subsidiary of CCP. That's code for "we own them now."
The two things that I can see coming from this are obvious from my headline. Since CCP is already playing in the paper gaming space (with their trading card game) it's clear that they're comfortable and interested in expanding more into this area so an EVE rpg (or miniatures game or whatever) seems likely. Even more likely is that a World of Darkness massively multiplayer online rpg is in our collective future.
Good? Bad? The harbinger of the end times? Feel free to comment below, or in our forums.

I just got into EVE-Online. Fun game, a bit slow in the beginning, but fun. The fact you can level up your skill while not being logged in is great for the casual gamer.
White wolf online would be cool, and I hope to see an EVE RPG for the tabletop gamer in the future. Pen and Paper RPGs are the best.
After becoming a dad, my RPG time has dropped to zilch. I played some EVE, but found it lacking in depth - if there was a smart tie-in with P&P RPG, huzzaaah !
The background would greatly benefit from it...
