Interested In Some RPGA Gaming?

joeB1 has posted on the forum that he's interested in running some RPGA events at the store. Joe is a Herald level GM in the RPGA and is looking to see what the interest level is in having him run this Eberron-based campaign at the store. Be sure to log in to the forum and let him know if this is something that you would be interested in taking part in.

Exalted 2nd Edition is Coming

Well, it's not like it's going to be here tomorrow, but it is coming and White Wolf definitely wants you to know about it.

One of the things that they're doing right now is holding a painting contest. That's right, you can win cool prizes by submitting photos of your painted Exalted minis. We have some of these minis in stock and Seth, Joe, or Tim would be MORE than happy to order any of the line that we don't have in order to further your plans for domination of this event.

Winners will get a copy of the game (when it comes out in March) as well as a cool T-shirt, GM screen, and dice.

Want more details? Head over to The Miniatures Page where I found this info in the first place.

Want more info on Exalted 2nd Edition? You might want to mosey on over to White Wolf's website for that information.

GAME AUCTION THIS SATURDAY AT NOON

In case you didn't get our latest flyer (and if you didn't be sure to get yourself on the mailing list next time you're in the store) this Saturday, January 14th at Noon will be the next installment of our continuin series of game auctions.

The rules are pretty simple:

If you want to sell something in the auction bring it into the store and fill out a simple form to get your item in the auction. Not all items will be accepted. We tend to cut off anything that we're getting too many of or anything that has shown a pattern in the past of not selling. We don't want to waste anybody's time by having a lot of dead items. During the auction the auction staff will sell your items. At the end of the auction you will receive a gift card containing the FULL SALE PRICE of the items that you sold (the gift card part is a new addition). Please avoid brining your items in on the day of the auction if you can help it. That day is crazy enough without having to spend all morning checking in new lots.

If you're just looking to buy come on in Saturday before Noon to get a sneak peek at the auction lots. We generally have a full cross-section of gaming goodness. You'll find board games, RPGs, miniatures, magazines, card games, the occasional videogame, and other fun stuff. This is definitely a buyers market. You can expect to find some great deals on gaming items new and old.

The auction usually runs about 3-4 hours and is a LOT of fun. Even if you aren't planning to buy you may still want to come over and check it out. The auctioneers and the crowd are both very entertaining. It's also a good time to meet new people as the auction tends to be one of our single biggest events with people from a variety of backgrounds and interests.

We'll see you there!
