Decal Move

Well, the decal production facility is moving to Arizona tomorrow. I should be able to get things up and running by the end of the following week. In the meantime I should be able to fill some orders - if we already have backstock of the sets involved.

Hey, as long as we're talking decals let me show you a little custom job that I did for the Greenfield Games Decal Transport Vehicle (AKA - my car).

This is a custom vinyl decal that I had made at my local mall. They work pretty much the same way that we do. You bring them a jpeg of the image you want to create a decal for, they re-render that art in their program, then they cut it out of a sheet of adhesive vinyl. It cost me $30 to have it made. I applied it myself (it wasn't easy and took about an hour).

Decal Delay Done

We got our order of ink in this evening so I was able to complete all of the pending orders. I apologize to those of you who have been waiting so long.

Decal Delays

I know that there's a small handful of people who have been patiently awaiting their decals. These decals have been waiting completion longer than normal because of a delay in getting some needed ink supplies. I am told that these precious inks are now on the way to the production facility and that we should see them this week. Hopefully that means today... because I'll be flying to Seattle on Friday to attend the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) and won't be able to complete orders once I leave. I will be back in the office on Monday. Then, we're carting up the whole facility (again) and moving it to Arizona.

More details on that later.

Jay's Off to Gen Con

Just a quick heads up.

Jay is going to be in Indianapolis all week for Gen Con. This means that if you order decals (or ordered any this week) the orders won't get fully processed until next week.

Also, if you're going to be at Gen Con please stop by Octopi's booth and say hi. I will be there helping them to show off their new online collectible miniature game, PoxNora.

I hope to see you there!

- Jay

The First WoW TCG Card Preview

Upper Deck just released this preview card, showing the world (of Warcraft) what they have to look forward to when the game releases this fall.

I'm going to see if I can get in on a demo of the game when I head out to Gen Con next week because, frankly, this card did a good job of grabbing my attention. I HOPE that it's a good game. But that hope does little good when it comes to TCGs. It's just too hard for all of the elements to come together in just the right way to make a real hit. If anything has a chance though, this does. With the following of World of Warcraft this game should sell like underpriced Traveller's Backpacks in the Orgrimmar Auction House.

So look for my full report on the game some time next week.

The Adventures of Chad Vader

I love the internet...

Okay, in this series Darth Vader is the day manager of a small market. Oh, and his first name isn't Darth, it's Chad. That's really all of the setup you need. Episode one has been around for a while, but Episode Two just came out today.
