Happy Birthday Cthulhu!

Well, not Cthulhu himself so much as the roleplaying game Call of Cthulhu.

That's right, this month isn't just OUR birthday (see below) it's also Call of Cthulhu's 25th birthday. Today is the official day. So why not celebrate by grabbing a copy of the game, getting some friends together and driving all of their characters insane as they try to investigate the mysteries of the Cthulhu Mythos!

So... EVE RPG or WoD MMO?

Maybe Both?

What the heck am I talking about? Well, it looks like White Wolf Games has been purchased by CCP - the makers of the popular EVE Online.

The press release calls it a merger, but then says that White Wolf is now a wholly owned subsidiary of CCP. That's code for "we own them now."

The two things that I can see coming from this are obvious from my headline. Since CCP is already playing in the paper gaming space (with their trading card game) it's clear that they're comfortable and interested in expanding more into this area so an EVE rpg (or miniatures game or whatever) seems likely. Even more likely is that a World of Darkness massively multiplayer online rpg is in our collective future.

Whoo De Hoo!! We're Turning Six!!!

...And we've decided to have a PARTY!!!!!!

The end of the month will be our 6th Anniversary. So, on Thursday, November 30th, from 6pm to around 9pm we'll be running game demos of some the hottest games right now.
There will be free cake and pizza and refreshments!
And, thanks to our generous distributor and game makers, loads of free give aways all night!!!
